Closing Applications in Windows 8

One of the first things that becomes apparent when using Windows 8 is the absence of the traditional maximize/minimize and close buttons normally located in the top right hand corner of the window.  To close and application in Windows 8, move the mouse cursor to middle top of the screen until a small hand is displayed.  Once the hand is displayed right click and drag the window all the way to the bottom of the screen.
